congrats! I'm sure that's a bit of a relief after all the time searching.
Pop up Gizmos are awesome. But if you are able to just park in the shade you don't really need them. It's only when the sun is directly on the canvas, then those bunkends heat like an oven. I always carried them, but rarely needed to actually put them on. I've heard you can turn them around for colder weather camping to reflect heat back in, but we never tried it.
I appreciate the kind words, but this amount of looking is nothing! This worked out to be what we wanted at what I think is a pretty good price and was only an hour away.
When I bought my camry I started thinking in February, test driving in April, signed papers on July 3rd, and drove it home on July 9th. LOL.
The old "Whats it gonna take to get you into this car today" questions, is met with "give me the car for free".
So looking like here in South Carolina, and my expensive county, they are basing my property taxes on 10.5% of the value, and then I pay 45% of that resultant number.
If I could apply for it to be as a second home, It would start as a 6% of the value and THEN 45% of that.
Apparently they are telling me since I have a rental house (That is based on 6%, BUT my taxes went from 900 owner occupied to 2950 as a rental) then I cannot apply for the camper to be a second home at 6% and so will have to pay over $350 in taxes this year, on top of $400 in sales tax from the purchase!!! F!!!!
