So we brought our new toy home sunday. Towed it to my house using my dads suburban tow vehicle.
At my place we hooked up to the TB and took a few mile drive and hit the interstate. Felt good so far but I know thats not a real test.
More importantly have an odd electrical thing I need to figure out.
Before we left the seller was showing me that the black and grey tanks were empty, but the fresh was full. The drain valve was broken so I've gotta buy one and replace it. So the little lights on the white diagnostic panel worked just sitting there NOT hooked to a car nor power from the house. I recall her saying the battery was at 50%.
We towed it home, and now I can't get any diagnostic lights to work, no interior camper lights, no water pump, NOTHING. As though there is no power.
It was late in the evening so I didn't hook to AC power where I feel sure I would have power.
Dunno if hooking up my dads tow vehicle may have blown a fuse in the converter panel or if a wire came loose somehow from the battery or what. Not sure where to check first. I checked the breakers, but that's only for AC i'm pretty sure.
I also had the thought that plugging into the vehicle would power those things, but I think having a tongue battery means those operate as two separate NOT inter-phasing systems between aux 12V and vehicle 12v for driving lights, and brakes.
Right now its parked beside our rental house since it wont go into our yard and we have an HOA anyway. So this sat morning I'll bring it back to our house and try to figure this out.
Any thoughts from the pros?
