Loose dinette seat question

One of our dinette seats is up against the wall, but the other has nothing behind it and the back of it has become slightly loose.
Has any one had this happen and can you tell me how you fixed it?

I am talking about the back that is behind the cushion

  • I think the OP is referring to the actual wood seatback of the bench itself, that's the way I read it anyways:h

Push it back in place, get some small corner brackets from you local hardware store and screw them in for re-enforcement.
  • Velcro is your friend for a ton of things, right along with duct tape.
  • I have a narrow basket that I place against the wall. It hold the seat back in place and hold pencils, salt and pepper, etc. The cushion on the other side stays in place.
