I'd like to thank Crossroads! I had to send a few emails and make a few calls but in the end they did cover the repair. It turns out there was a problem with the seal around the window and even though it was a couple months out of warranty Crossroads covered it.
The dealer initially quoted me three hours to do the repair (out of warranty at my own cost). After talking with Crossroads they said they would cover it but it shouldn't take anywhere near that long to reseal a window. They offered to call the dealer and deal with it. I thanked them and they did.
I talked to the dealer a couple days later who seemed annoyed that Crossroads questioned how long it would take. Long story short I got the paperwork today when I picked it up and it was only 1.5 hours, all covered by Crossroads.
Of course when we picked it up the dealer couldn't find the keys and when they did I found the screen, blinds, and window covering just sitting on the bed. The battery was completely dead because they left the light on, etc. I put everything back on and pulled it back to storage.
I'm surprised and very happy that Crossroads covered it. To me, it wasn't really about the money, but what I thought was the right thing. They did the right thing and I appreciate it.
