When we were at a seasonal site in FL, the campground had "rules" and instructions on how to connect to the sewer. The campground maintenance staff was very helpful and also inspect and approve the sewer connection.

I have been "un-camped" at the same site for 2 years now. The pin on my drain pipe is very hard to get to with the sides out so I leave it pulled out all the time. Since I have "unlimited" water, extra water in the toilet will prevent the "pyramid". The key is to make sure there is enough water in the toilet to flush the solid stuff down the drain.

I use the adapter picture in a early posting to connect to my solid 3' pvc pipe.

Since I am "un-camped" in an open field, my septic system is a 55 gallon drum with about 40 - 60 feet of black drainage pipe for field lines.

Go to Home Depot, or lowes, CW won't have what you need, you need DWV pipe (black pipe} figure the length and elbows, some glue, hack saw, at least a 1/4" per foot drop to the drain inlet. A just drain once a week, or get the pyramid of stink in the tank.

Or you can make a 4 inch PVC pipe out of PVC gutters and have a hose support too. I use plastic gutters I got at Lowes. I use them to support the hose and place them over the hose upside down and squeeze them to fit inside the one on the bottom. You can extend the top one over the hose where it turns down to connect to the cleanout. I can carry them stacked inside my PVC fence post carrier I mounted under the trailer along with the hose laying in them. The main thing is to protect the hose from direct sunlight. I have had one hooked up most of the time for over 2 years with no problem. The part of the hose that turns up to connect to the dump valve is always in the shade and is never covered. I did have to replace the bayonet fitting connecting to the valve but that was because the seal went bad because it was compressed for so long that it started to dribble when dumping. If you need to you can put some Velcro wraps around the gutters to hold them together.

I used one for 10 years on a seasonal. I bought the rubber hubless connectors to hook everything together. Had to use a rubber sewer ring for an RV at the pipe going into the ground for a good seal.

I have a rigid pipe adapter for mine. I got it from my local RV dealer.

Then I made a trip to Hope Depot/Lowes and got some black plastic sewer pipe and a couple fittings. Glued them together. So far it has survived the sun better than the slinky ever dreamed.

Just trying to get this project completed, but no rush since CG is closed till April.

my RV dealer sold a fitting with the standard 4/2 prong attachment and a standard screw thread that would fit ABS type of pipe.

PVC will deteriorate in the sunlight. You may want to consider ABS that will last longer.
