I took my TT up to Discount Tire this weekend and had the new tires installed. On the way, I noticed the rear driver side tire wobbling in the mirror when making a turn, so I kept to the secondary streets. These were Tow Master tires - 5 years old according to the date stamp and tread depth was like new. I asked the installer about it and he said it most likely had separated.
They mounted and balanced the new MAXXIS tires and it was a pleasure to tow. I spent the money on the warranty plus steel valve stems. This just in time for our next trip in a few weeks.
