Uh oh....here we go. I'm sure several folks are going to jump in here and lay the blame at your feet for everything from overloading, to driving too fast, underinflating and beating your dog.
. . . if the shoe fits. But I don't know yet how fast the OP likes to go. I lived in Phoenix area for several years and I know in July it be plenty hot. I don't even take my trailer out when it's in the upper 90's. Too hot to have fun in the woods, and must be murder on the tires. And with so many miles between towns in Arizona and on a freeway posted 75 mph, it's hard to stay disciplined to poke along at 65. But that's just what you need to do for those ST tires.
BTW, I was just coming home this afternoon on the freeway (from work)and saw a truck pulling a small trailer, probably about a 20' trailer. I cranked it up to 75 mph and was never able to catch up.
Please understand, I am not trying to single you out. It's just that so often in these types of threads, whether they are hitch threads, or tire threads, it does not take long for folks to come out of nowhere, and start accusing the original poster of being at fault. At times, I am sure that is true. Other times, not so much, but the facts, data, research and open minded discussion often get lost in the infighting.
As for you being able to sit out using your trailer in very hot weather, well, that is a nice perk for some folks. But there are some of us that may in fact "get the call" that says "RTB"....so we need to roll, and if it's like it is here today in my fair city....101 degrees....we need to roll. We don't want to have to worry over a part under performing when it is needed to do the job.
