You are probably right in your thinking, realizing that these forums represent only a very small percentage of the total people using some form of RV. I have never seen a camper with Maxxis tires either. I see a lot of Goodyear Marathons and a lot of brands I never heard of and rarely hear anyone in "real life" griping about tire failures of any certain brand, or harping about the great service of any particular tire brand.
Also, I have only met one or two folks in a campground that have ever heard of RV.NET.
