Every mouse I've ever caught has been on a snap trap with peanut butter. You have to make sure you work the peanut butter in or they'll steal it without triggering the trap. I don't trust glue traps since I've had a few mice that have out smarted them somehow. The bait's gone and their little toe prints are in it the glue, but no mice.
