Mice are the worst. We had mice get in last year and tear up a few things. I found out where they go in at and I seal it with great stuff and steel wool. I also put steel wool in ever place I thought they might get into. So far it has worked. One thing we do now is put anything that stays in the trailer over the winter in totes. If mice do get in, that stuff stays clean. Not much else you can do IMO.
