Our plan of attack is put more and smaller traps, do the paper bag idea and pray hard. We need to get it cleaned up and out so we can go camping in a few weeks.
A cat outside is not an option right now. There are wild hogs and coyotes in the vicinity.

I have dozens , if not more, coyotes in may area and I have cats that are years old. As long as the cat has a place to get into to avoid the coyotes they seem to co-exists. Of course , I have a yard light, a outside dog tied up at night, and my TT sets inside a shed. I also have a boat in a open sided shed that the cats protect too. The coyotes don't seem to get to close to my yard light. They stay in the grove or the pasture down by the creek.
I have no idea about wild hogs though. We don't have them around here.
