I second the basic stuff only, we have very little spare space for things we don't need but as a traveler more than a camper we seldom go more than a day or two that we can't stop at WalMart or somewhere to get what we forgot or didn't know we needed. Even after 30+ years of camping we still find things we need and things we no longer use each year or each trip. We have a few items that go in for standard trips to specific destinations and stays home the rest of the time.

If you plan to camp some place for an extended time your first time out you may want to camp in your drive for 24 hours and see how many times you run into the house for things you needed.

Take the very basic stuff and add and subtract from the list as you learn. My DW severely overpacked for our winter trip south last year and this year she is packing the very minimum knowing that WAlMart, Target and Kohls will carry whatever needed.

There are a lot of RV checklists here. The most common mistake is to bring way too much. Start out with shorter trips near civilization. That way, if you forget something, you just make a trip to a store.

this should be a basic,s list or you,ll have the hole shop in the rv, don,t forget the duck tape.

one thing to remember is you have to tow any thing you put into that TT. so do make a list and make darn sure you need it before you put it into the TT. I for one am a pack rat of sorts. every time I buy a new TT I find stuff I forgot I had or didn't know I had. like four grills for the stove for example. I have hunting stuff, camping stuff, tools, you name it. I even read an article of a woman who wrote of her husbands need to have this or that in the TT just in case. Justin Case a bad guy to have riding with you. he robs you of your gas mileage etc. Not sure but if you go to the top of this page and look in the FAQ section you might find a few lists of things you need to have or want in your TT. good luck, happy camping.
