moist ceiling of trailer

We just bought our Viking 17BH and took it out for the second time. We did some cooking and boiling of water. Just as we were inspecting the trailer before leaving the campsite, my wife noticed that there were some moist and soft spots on the ceiling. Some white plaster came off on our fingers. At first she thought maybe the trailer was leaking. But we found these soft spots all around the ceiling. It's a rough plaster type ceiling. Does cooking and boiling water affect the ceiling? Anybody have this problem? Thanks.
  • I always have one of my Fantasic fans on and a window at least cracked when cooking, doing dishes, showering even in cold weather. Moisture is not your TT's friend.
  • You need beaucoup ventilation when pouring water vapor into your rig.
  • if the weather was cold, I would think that condensation would be possible if the insulation was not great. I have never seen a RV with a plastered ceiling however. notify the dealer ASAP.
