I have never had mice in my TT, but in my home.....you betcha. Our home boarders an undeveloped field. Every fall the mice would invade. Last fall reading about mice in TT's I read about Fresh Cab. It sounded to good to be true, investigated several websites and saw nothing but good reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. Not 1 mouse last winter. Still don't know if it was just an off year for mice or if the Fresh Cab really worked. I will tell you come spring. I just bought a fresh batch and placed it throughout my home, garage and TT. If the mice stay away I will be sold for life.
If you look at reviews of Freshcab on Amazon you'll find them split almost 50/50 that it either works great or not at all. You'll find similar information about most other mouse repellent claims. I still maintain that it has to do with what variety of mice you have. Some mice are repelled by substances that have no effect on other mice.
The mice we have in our cabin are not bothered in the least by Freshcab, peppermint oil, mothballs, dryer sheets or ultrasonic gizmos. Plugging holes and maintaining traps is the only way to keep their population down.
