Neighbor a bit unhappy with his truck

This truck lives near a friend of mine and saw it, then I saw it in the news. Car problems are never fun, no matter what emblem is on the grille.

  • sorta reminds me of the Roadtrek that was often parked at the Harrisburg RV shows that had pictures of lemons stuck on all over it. Also a house just west of Frederick, MD, that had lemons stuck all over it, this was the early days of house heat pumps and he was mistaken thinking that he would actually get hot air out of his system. spent a fortune on small electric heaters all thru the house.
    bumpy

I'd at least use washable tempura paint or something like it.

    Oooooh. Tempura. Sounds delicious.

  • I applied the squeak one time myself. The bank my kids had their children's accounts in was eaten by BOA. The old bank waived service charges on kid's accounts. BOA then zeroed out their small accounts with service charges. We got the 'mechanics shrug' from the manager when we complained.

So I got the kids to make signs saying: "BOA steals kid's money". And they marched around outside the bank entrance on the public sidewalk. The manager came out and tried the "You are trespassing" card which I laughed off. 20 minutes later they had their money back. We haven't done business with BOA since then.
  • What a dufus. So maybe the truck is normal and the dufus is just an ass, or maybe its just a fluke problem, or maybe he towed a 20K GVW trailer all summer long in 95 degree heat low on tranny fluid. I am willing to bet he's just feeling the cylinder deactivation and hes a moron. No widespread reported problems of the described issues with that vintage of GM trucks. I would like to see GM give the guy a new tranny, then let him realize what type of ass he is to have done $3000.00 in the least worth of damage to the paint on his own $60K+ truck.

  • It's probably cheaper than a lawyer.
But, there's two sides to every story.
  • The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Probably works more often than not.
