- GeoBoyExplorerIf his state has a “lemon law” GM would have to buy the truck back if they can’t resolve the problem.
- dodge_guyExplorer IIIt’s easier than you think to remove spray paint from a vehicle without damaging the factory paint. He got what he wanted. GM took notice and got a hold of him and are working on a solution. Good for him!
- larry_barnhartExplorersame thing happened here before we hit the road for AZ at the local dodge garage. New truck was painted like lemons and the folks were serving lemonade it looked like. It lasted a couple days or more. Nothing is perfect .
chevman - Sometimes a man has to do, what a man has to do... And it looks like he got results.
Atta Boy... - Old-BiscuitExplorer III"BOY I'll show them....I'm gonna spray paint my new truck just to show them how mad I am!"
Can anyone say IDIOT.
I can understand his frustration IF he REALLY has an issue with how truck functions (BIG IF)---but just how stupid can one be!
Course his stupidity is showing so that brings into question HIS understanding of HOW his truck functions - goducks10ExplorerI've thought about painting something on my faded front cap.
- drsteveExplorerIt might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but only if you're really stupid. Even if they fix whatever he feels is wrong with the truck, he still has a ruined paint job.
- Tyler0215ExplorerWell he got his 15 minutes of fame. Now he's stuck with a damaged truck and a dealer who won't be real eager to help solve the problem. What a doofus.

Must have been really early days. A heat pump is essentially an air conditioner running in reverse. We have had nothing but heat pumps in our house since 1984 and it cools the house in the summer and heats it in the winter. It might kick in the auxiliary heating element in temps below 25. And that was not new even back then.
well i've had Heat pumps (misnamed) since 76 and they suck. put out 85 degree air when on pump which feels cool when it blows on you. my first one was a Lenox HP83111 (IIRC) which had about a 90% failure rate in a subdivision in VA.
tell that fella in the Lemon house how wonderful they are.
