I own a 2015 GMC Denali 3500 srw, absolutely love this truck! Like they say, you won't go wrong with any of them now day's as they are all nice. But one things for sure, how does Ram go about posting all the big #'s and come up short?
ClickyI like this paragraph and it has to makes one wonder at only 60% of its actual payload capacity why does it feel like it is at its maximum?
"Where the cracks begin to show in this elegant beast is once weight is applied. Loading the four-grand worth of shingles into bed revealed the first problem area for this truck: the rear suspension. The Ram swayed side-to-side significantly more than the Ford and GMC while cornering, offering a marshmallow-inspired ride. Body roll was very prominent and the truck felt like it was at its limit even though the shingle payload was only heavy enough to represent 60-percent of its officially rated maximum."As for IFS in GM trucks, I love it. Never had any issues with any of my HD trucks going back to 2001. Cant say that about Dodge/Ram (Death wobble) and they all thought the new front end on the Rams was going to take care of that problem
I guess not more what happened to safety how does Chrysler get away with this?Ram said its normal for HD trucks.Go with the GMC, you will love the smooth seamless power of the Duramax and the Allison is the icing on the cake.
