Kevinwa - if you bothered to stay with this thread after the food fight started .... BC is one of the jurisdictions that an enforcement officer will consider the OEM door sticker weight ratings on a private pickup truck. OEMs sticker a group of single rear wheel 350/3500 trucks at max 10,000lbs to suit some markets where >10,000lbs requires a commercial license, or can't be parked at home, etc. etc.
If you are buying a long term truck for a future bigger camper or trailer you may need to forgo the features and benefits of a single rear wheeler.
