Ahhhh, well thanks for the advise. I didn't have a chance to call today, I'll try tommorrow. Buying tires shouldn't be so hard. I contemplated WHAT to buy all winter, then decided on Maxxis, my local dealers knew nothing about them, said all ST tires are made by same outfit in China. So I chose online and now have to deal with shipping and convincing summit it matters. I appreciate all the opinions, basically I understand some of you had same/similar experience and while it's not ideal to start off, sometimes it is just the way it is. Of course these are going on a 2001 which still has original tires dated 2000 and all are holding up. Now, I still need new batteries...
