Of course you never pulled your trailer long distances at sustained speeds in excess of 65mph, and you made sure they were properly inflated on a reasonable schedule, and your trailer was never over loaded, and your tongue was never too high or too low.
I put 4 new Maxxis on my trailer in Aug 2013. Since then, I've put over 18k miles on those tires. They still look almost as good as they did when new. And that was all in a 2.5 year period.
I hope all my TT tires do as well as these have so far. (knock on wood) I never over load my trailer, it may be slightly tongue down, and most importantly, I keep them at 50 psi which I check after a prolonged period of sitting, like over winter, and several times when on a long road trip plus, even more importantly, I do not pull the trailer over 65 for sustained periods. Briefly when getting on an interstate, I'll be above 65 sometimes, and during the few times when I have to pass, I will get above 65/

I wouldn't buy Maxxis whether it's new or old stock, two of them didn't make the first year for me.
