Got that right. He is not the first person to post their Maxxis failure story and get told it's all your fault.
To the OP... I would not have taken the deal you did.
The shipping time issue is BS. My Michelins were made over seas as well.. The last set I bought (after refusing the first set due to age) were weeks old, not months. And the difference between the older and new tires was obvious.
100.00 off IMO opinion is peanuts compared to the $$$ and/or aggravation a failure can bring. BTDT.
This thinking once again reinforces what I have said many times about the reason for ST tires... They are the most cost concious bunch of tire buyers out there. A low cost trumps all other factors in their decision making.
