Yep, I understand where you're coming from and it might just end up that way.
I'm currently looking a Bend, OR or Wells/Spring Creek? NV area for a "Home Base" but that's down the line
the problem with the single unit camper/vehicle I think that's what a "Sportsmobile 4x4 " is that you have to pack it up to go anywhere... so that would really be a PITA...
TC I have the truck, although a Beast, but it an get around.
So back to the TC combo.. hehheh, you see, I've been playing with this for sometime now... I keep asking myself, "Self, what it....." and the TC, Flat bed, trailer keeps popping up as the solution.
Home base, yah,I'd prefer but I haven't hit the lottery yet, although one might get the impression I have, so for the short term, I'd be without a house pymt although gas and site fees will probably even it out, dunno..
Anyway, I understand what you're saying. As you note, as one gets older things get harder... I have looked at the 811 w/2500 RAM but it was a tad too small and esier to get Cabin Fever... 1100 series were too big...
So the 990 fits..
