I am all over the place but not really. I know what I want to do and have a pretty good idea of what I need, but always open to new "Issues" etc that my jumbled mind looses in the flux.
My goal is simple (and subject to change eh?)
I want to be able to move around the West, not really interest in the east, for off roading and exploring, photog etc.
I need something to do that and the first post pretty much lists it all, just a question of the truck and if I can do the flat bed cost wise or have to wait. I'll be looking into the RAM 5500 but thinking that might be an overkill for what I need.
Fulltiming in steps, yes, completely agree and can't sell condo until it rises in value, apx 2yrs so that should give me a good idea on what to do. While I like the idea of a "Home Base", probably outside of Bend, OR and will certainly get one, I thought for a few years I'd go Fulltime.
I'm not new to camping, have a Tear Drop since '08 and talk with several "Fulltimers" using the TD. So far I haven't found anything that would cause a problem.
Since TC is a little different and a whole lot bigger, I was trying to get an idea of things to "Head off at the pass" issues. The apx 2 yrs to "Play with" should give me a better idea of the life style, but not seeing an issue yet, but knowing there are some.
I did check out the links (I couldn't get your photos to show up from your linked profile) and did subscribe the TC Mag, I'll look for MelloMikes...heheh, pretty much states the personality, nice...
