My wife and I full time RV, started out in a 40 foot toy hauler. We carry a Harley Tri Glide with us for day trips. We found out after 2 years that a 40 foot 5th wheel was a lot of work and aggravation. We do have a home base in South Texas, a small lot in a retirement campground. We bought a TC rig from a friend, Ford F450 Crew Cab Flatbed with a custom aluminum bed and a Arctic Fox 990. We have not spent a year straight in the rig but in 2013 spent 6 months and in 2014 spent 8 months with no problem. We stay in the 5th wheel because we have it and can't get what e owe on it for it.
