I'm not a full timer, and don't want to be, but I'm thinking you are pursuing the right objective: to get as much info on F-T-ing, based on people who have done it or are doing it before you make the plunge. BKA, who Jeanie and I talked to a few days ago in Death Valley seems to have much different perimeters than yourself. This is the only campsite he pays for during the year. In Death Valley, no less.

But, still you learn.
The bottom line is: Nothing is set in stone. Make your own mistakes and adjust to make it work. My guess is, after 16 weeks out, you will have a different outlook on why you are doing this.
No two people have the same requirements or needs in life........... on the road.
The magic number of consecutive days after which you loose yourself, on the road is 35. The umbilical is cut. After 3 dozen foreign tours with the LA Philharmonic, I lost myself, over and over. After 35 days.
