34ftcamper

Hi I went to full time RV living in Jan 2013 and it has been great. I started in a pretty nice 34 foot TT with double slides a decent home for a guy living alone. I then purchased a 26 year old pop up truck camper for more adventures excurtions. I put the big camper in storage last spring took the little pop up TC and headed north. I lived in that little pop up TC for 5 months and 17655 miles. From the Mexican Border to Prudoe Bay AK and so many places in between. With only a 9 gallon water tank, no shower or toilet. I managed to live pretty comfortable in this little space. Toilet was a 5 gallon bucket, trash bags and kitty litter, bathing was boiling water and washing hair and body from the sink, it wasn't so difficult. I enjoyed it so much I have decided to rid myself of the big camper and live fulltime in a TC. I just purchased a 2015 AF 990 in Salt Lake City and will take delivery tomorrow evening, and it is headed for AK Saturday. You can certainly live very comfortable in an AF 990, pulling your toys in the trailer shouldn't be to much problem, allthough it will limit some of the places you can get into. Do not listen to any nay sayers, go for it use common sense, expect to have good days and bad, and make adjustments as you figure out what is working for you and what isn't. I camped for 5 months last year over an almost 18000 mile trip and only paid about $200.00 for camping, the rest was free camping in remote areas. BTW AZ and Utah are great places to explore and camp, endless possibilities. Enjoy!
