It's a group 31 and with the new box just fits in the "V" of the hitch.
Congrats on your NTU camper. :B However, I'm surprised you would spend so much time & effort searching for a suitable camper and negotiating the price down then turn around a spend so much on a battery, especially from Canadian Tire and especially when it's not on sale, which guaranteed it eventually will be. :h Since you don't have any particular need to mount the battery inside the trailer but instead are mounting it on the A frame where any lead acid battery would normally live that's an awful price to pay for just one battery. :E $530 w/tax for that one AGM could have bought you at least 3 times the capacity in a conventional lead acid battery, or conversely one lead acid battery with greater capacity at 1/3rd the cost. Since for whatever reason you did go with this AGM I'd suggest you also invest the time necessary to learn how to best care for it. ;)
So what would be your suggestion for my restricted space? I ASSumed that the AGM battery would have the higher capacity.
Now I'm confused. I thought I bought that battery for a reason.
"Longest Life: Up to 2x longer service life than regular AGM batteries and 6x longer than conventional flooded batteries"
And capacity seems to be higher than others. What am I missing?
Also....I am toying with the idea of putting it in my fwd stowage compartment....but I need to drop the chassis enclosure panels to see what's what underneath.
