Two pages and nobody has calculated that this engine has a 12 year payback vs. the gas engine???? (Yes, that was sarcasm.)
I was in Europe last year and there were diesels everywhere. I drove the US equivalent of a Nissan Murano with a turbo diesel and a 6 speed manual, and it was great.
It's nice to have choices. If you don't like these light duty diesels, don't buy one.
