Yes I suppose so. The Nissan Navara has Renault derived diesels, the biggest having 405 lbs ft of torque.
Fred Diaz knows that if he's going to turn the Nissan truck brand around in the U.S. it's not going to happen with a Renault diesel and the Cummins nameplate maybe his saving grace.
On the other hand I think RAM made a big mistake with their half ton putting the VM motori or whatever it's called instead of the Cummins engine that so many love and trust.
Let's not forget the Cummins engine had a major influence with saving Chrysler, or better yet maybe Macaroni needs a history lesson. :B
