That is correct Cummins is the name of quality in the US, although the Renault developed Diesel is
very very good in the Navara.
Different outside the US, where in light Diesels Cummins lags behind quite a few others.
Let's not forget the Cummins engine had a major influence with saving Chrysler, or better yet maybe Macaroni needs a history lesson.
He does not need a history lesson. He knows VM Motori make better performing light diesels than Cummins and they VM Motori are a company owned by FIAT. As an Italian raised in Dearborn, he knows you use Cummins when you want much larger engines. Problem is there are better performing large engine manufacturers around but they do not have the economies of scale of Cummins i.e They cost more.
