Well I find it funny that they think someone with a Ram would care what Nissan is running, I don't. Nissan didn't bet Ram out of anything, that engine was designed for Ram to start with.
Damn-Lire in yet another example of their poor management, decided not to put a diesel in the 1500. Even though they invested a sizable amount of capital on it. Fast foreword to Fiat and they understood that people want a diesel (something Ford and GM have not figured out) and being that it well be around 300HP and 550TQ my 04 is 305/555 they will have a awesome tow beast for a 1/2 ton truck. If that is what they are limiting it to. Look out Ford and GM you boys will be eating black smoke as the Nissan's and Rams out pull you up the grades.
Get back under the porch little dogs.

I don't think the little Fiat diesel Dodge is going with will out pull the GM and Ford offerings. Will it get good mileage and do a decent job- sure. But let's not get carried away with crazy notions of grandeur!
Unless you are talking about a newly designed Nissan with a real life Cummins that will flat out destroy the Ford, GM and Dodge! :)
Done right- Nissan is going to be a player and a stayer!
