Refer back a couple of pages to my stupid and uneducated Fiat is Ram's daddy comment. When the controlling interest of a company also has a 50 percent interest in an engine manufacturer (VM Motori).....anyway, there is no mystery here. As Si Robertson would say, hey looky here Jack, I am a Ram fan, have had three of them and most likely will remain a fan but they might have hurt themselves a bit with this one.
For some odd reason the name "VM Motori" doesn't sound inspiring! :R
I'd rather have a "Cummins V8" :B
Maybe it's just me but it's going to be different to see a big "M" in the rear window of a Ram diesel truck. :h
Or see "MOTORI POWER" on the fender badge. :B
It just does not have the same ring to it. :S
