Who has CEL issues?
I've not had it come on in my truck.....ever in 72k.
Of course your truck doesn't have any CEL problems.... I was referring to the other cummins powered truck. :W Let's hope Nissan/cummins does a better job.- pbmazda32ExplorerI was going to hold out and check out this truck before I bought my Ram as I was expecting pricing and configuration of the truck to slip in between the big gas and the other diesel's on the market which are a bit overkill for me. Wasn't expecting that kind of price tag. To be honest, it was going to have to be priced really good to get me to go with this over a Ford or Dodge. Just didn't see taking a chance on a newcomer if it wasn't priced right. Sharp truck though, would love to be waxing that up in the garage.

I've not had it come on in my truck.....ever in 72k. - ksssExplorerThere is nothing wrong with it being IFS, and I personally don't believe that the current version of the CP4 is the issue the first versions were, however it is the cost vs capacity equation, which is a loser. If it got 26 mpg maybe that would help balance things out, but it doesn't so it is what is. It has limited payload as I suspected it would. I don't see this pickup setting any sales records, not really sure who is going to buy it given the other options available.
- carringbExplorerBasically, I think this truck is targeted at the F150 max payload, except this has less payload and less horsepower, and seems to get the same fuel economy at least unloaded.
But, chances are they'll market it as heavy duty despite the payload limits. I've already seen one Nissan ad with it hooked to a 35' or so gooseneck with a back hoe on the trailer. Surely that setup had well north of 3,000 pounds of hitch weight. - Not really too impressive.... Let's hope cummins/Nissan does a better of preventing CEL's like the other guys.
- ChooChooMan74ExplorerI see pros and cons. As of now, I am kinda glad I got the EcoD.
- jus2shyExplorerWell, for some the ride of a 3/4 is too harsh and want something softer for a daily driver. For others, they just want all-out capability. This is a truck with a different set of compromises compared to the 3/4 and 1 tons from the big 3. We'll see how it goes.
- BenKExplorerAt 8,990 GVWR is it a half ton or 3/4 or 1 ton?
Marketing and all the OEMs do stuff like this
How many folks put cinder blocks behind their trailer axles to lessen the tongue
weight?
OBTW...I'm a Nissan fan from their Datson days.... - IdaDExplorer

A pretty good review. At the MSRP as tested one could easily get any of the big three in a 3/4Ton truck.
Therein lies the problem. The only benefit you get with the Titan is a slightly softer ride. On the downside you get timing chains, a CP4 injection pump, IFS and more limited capabilities. I think the big Cummins makes better sense but I'm obviously biased.
