Anybody towing 5 th wheel around 9,000 # with this truck ? Thoughts. Comments.

I don't but hopefully someone can give u both variants of gas and diesel. I know that TFL had several videos on you tube that my help you. Also check around for any Nissan forums out there that could help. Good luck and hopefully others can chime in on what there experiences are.

I don't have one, but it really seems that Nissan missed the mark, at least with the Cummins. Way less power than the bigger diesels, with no advantage in MPGs. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I kind of like the looks of the truck. If I were in the market, I would step up to a 2500.

Nissan goofed on the diesel Titan XD. Crew Cabs have somewhat low payload and the 5.0L Cummins does not get any better MPG than the 6+L's from Ford/Chevy/Dodge and they are known as dogs (very slow) on Titan owner forums. (Not to mention many problem reports with emissions.)They do try to make up for it at the dealer level by lowering prices to prices not found anywhere online. But its a pain and still not low enough IMO.That said, they are REALLY nice trucks and the most comfortable truck I have ever driven. I've test driven the Gas V8 and 5.0L more than I've every test driven everything else combined trying to sell myself on one. I was easily sold on the gas V8, just not enough to rid my Toyota V8.

My bud is an engineer at Nissan if Farmington Hills. Needless to say I've been advised not to even look at one, which I haven't.
