My 5th wheel vent flap has a locking tab so it doesn't flap when going down the road. I just lock it down on windy days when the range is not in use. I probably will install something on the TC to do the same. - fpooleExplorer

It takes drilling a small hole in your hood for the control knob and somewhere to hide the controller ( I was able to mount mine in the sheet metal cover under the hood that hides the wires from the controls back to the fan/light) but it wasn't difficult to install and the wife loves it. Not bad for $10. You can use the fan at full speed if needed but most of the time we have it on 1/2 speed which is much quiter and all that is needed.
