I tow my 28qbss with my '10 double cab. Its about 6K dry and I assume tipping over 7000 lbs loaded.
With the family and the trailer, I feel I am at the very edge of the trucks capabilities. Upgraded tires and pads, but payload numbers and axles numbers you can't change. I am over gvwr, but under the axle ratings. I am currently looking at larger trucks. I feel the Tundra is a bit small once you reach 7K lbs....which is too bad because I really enjoy my truck. Power isn't bad, but I could use another 50 hp/tq to be more comfortable in addition to a slightly beefier truck.
