A lot of debate over what the next gas engine offering will be to power heavy duty Ford pickups. The Ecoboost was an engineering success but provides Eco OR boost, not both. A V8 version may not be the best solution. I imagine we will see a small engine, v6 or v8 and electric motor working together. Were seeing hybrid technology in more and more performance cars these days and as the cost continues to go down it seems a likely choice for heavy duty uses.
