I live 20kms from the plant (were are you? oh ya 6000 miles away), the same building the 2.7 nano heads come from,those guys know a ecoboost cylinder head when they see one ,and they did years ago.
I used to work there and still talk to fellow workers ,we know what a ecoboost head has to look like before its machined and after.
If - and its still 'if'- the 5.0 gets boosted it will have 2 and direct injection ,why would it not?
It could also have a crank that de strokes it a bit,maybe 4.0?
