Well there is a big difference there.
But the answer is still the same: NOTHING on a routine basis.

Stabilizer when stored for more than a month.
And a good shot of injector/carb cleaner at least once a year.
Berrymans B12 Chemtool for carbs; Techron for injectors.

NOTHING.

If it is burning/using a little bit of oil, try a "high mileage" type of a name brand oil.

If it is using a LOT of oil, find out why. Additives won't fix that.

P.S. And definitely DO NOT put anything that is a solvent into your oil.....like SeaFoam. It is not really good for any engine and on an old one like that it can turn a minor annoyance into a major failure.

I do not put anything in the fuel or the oil.
235000 miles and running fine. No oil consumption. Still has the same power as new.
I use Shell Rotella and change at 7500 miles or once per year, whichever comes first.

I just use the generic brand. Called "snake oil".

I use Sea Foam in my gas engines and have been happy so far. Per their website, it is also suitable for diesel engines

Why do you need to add anything. My 7.3 did fine for 13 years and was doing well when it went down the road on its way to a new home.

Shell Rotella dino every 5K miles.

I use Motorcraft PM-22 in my 6.7. PM-23 in the wintertime. Its actually recommended but we're comparing two different engines.

I use power service. It makes the injectors a little more quite and brings up the cetane rating. Neither are necessary.
