The best truck salesman I have worked with was a woman. She knew her trucks and when she did not know something, she found out. No BS. She was working in a bullpen full of men with too much testosterone and was busy selling while they were busy trying to impress someone. She was #2 salesman at a large dealer at the time we bought our truck from her. The #1 salesman was her husband and he taught her tremendous amount and she did the rest (she said she let him be #1, it was easier at home that way :) )
