Onan 2500 Start Switch

My Onan in my 1150 has decided to get a gremlin. It has power to the unit itself but neither of the start switches are working. Does anyone know if there are any fuses for the generator itself besides the 5 amp that is on the generator it is good. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  • Found this ... should tell you where to put your meter.

  • There is only one fuse location. Make you are testing the installed fuse and not the spare fuse in fuse cover.
I would even replace the fuse!
One drawing shows there is two fuses!
  • Thanks there is one 5 amp to the right of the start button are you saying that is a spare? I cant figure out how to get the metal cover off of the start switch to even look. Thanks for the help,
  • Well this one has got me baffled. I guess it is time to take it to the shop I have looked over everything that I can think of and I can't get either of the start switches to do anything. If anyone has any last minute help would greatly appreciate it.
