My Salesman just told me that the sway bar he quoted me was a Reese that I would have to take off EVERYTIME I wanted to backup. Does this sound right? Yuck!

I don't know about the Reese hitches, butI have had my Equal-Iz-er since 2005 and have never done anything special before backing up. It makes a lot of noise, and I'm careful about getting too far crabwise, but it does not need to be taken off before backing up.
