For the price of good exterior speakers you could get a nice boom box that can be played at a lower volume and be placed anywhere in the camp site. We have an XM boom box that's 7-8 years old. Crude by todays standards but offers great sound. Works with the XM radio or Mp3/Droid that I have. I run it off the batteries with a cheap 12V inverter for the 120V plug. I can place it near where we are sitting and it's not bothersome to anyone. My 5'er speakers are just OK but the placement of them makes them worthless. The acoustics are lousy. Unless you have a radio located outside to control the ext speakers then you always have to go in the trailer to change stations, volume or select a new artist.
