We had the camper (2005 Outfitter Caribou) and our pick-up (a 2004) recently evaluated for insurance purposes. The insurance was NOT replacement, and the camper was valued at precisely what we bought it for (10 years ago).
It is pretty well impossible to set a NADA on used Outfitters. The selling price of these things used varies greatly, depending on how far you are away from the manufacturer (ie. East Coast used Outfitters command a high price).
Here's an example: a recent check of used Outfitters is showing a 2005 Caribou short-bed selling for ~$13,000 (approx the price it cost new, +/- $1000). Another one; an Apex 8 2007 selling for $14,500 (located in Colorado: already sold). Another one, an Apex 9.5 selling for $13,900 (unknown date of manufacture: now sold). Another one, a 2011 Apex 8 selling for $23,000. Another, a 2003 Outfitter Mfg Apex 8 selling for $12,500 (about $1600 below its new price).
So, the only way to set your local value for an Outfitter, is to solicit offers, average those numbers, and you have the local value.
Good luck,
