Outfitter not in NADA

I have a 2011 Outfitter Apex pop-up truck camper. I recently went into the RV section of the NADA value book just out of curiosity to see what the book value of my camper was running.

To my surprise, the NADA book shows that Outfitter Truck campers were last made in 2007, and that the company is no longer in business. Now, of course, they could have gone out of business last week, but I was there in 2013, and they were still making camper then.

Thanks, I was already planning at least one night at St. Vrain.

I think you'd have a lot quieter night if you go out on the Poudre River somewhere. There are a few little camp areas there.
    My initial check out.

  • I have been back to Outfitter several times over the years to have things fixed or adjusted. I have always stayed at St. Vrain State Park. it's a really nice campground with full hook-ups. It is right along I-25 about five miles south of the Outfitter exit.

I may be stating the obvious but the full name is Outfitter Manufacturing.

They better still be in business because I'm picking up mine on Tuesday.

  • There isn't enough buying and selling volume of Outfitter truck campers to get into the NADA website. That's what happened to me when I traded in my Outfitter. The RV dealership's appraiser told me he didn't know what to appraise it at? I had my original invoice but that didn't seem to give him much comfort!! Dealer ended up calling Outfitter and asking them what it was worth.

I won't get into the "politics" of Outfitter/Hallmark/Ward family business.
  • Well, I just delved further into Outfitter on the NADA Website. I made an error in my original post. According to NADA Outfitter Truck Campers were produced in only one year, 2002.

It profiles Outfitter Manufacturing as being founded by the members of the family that own Hallmark in 2001.
