Last year we had the same problem in the 2003 trailer we had. My wife was using the vacuum and it just quit working. I checked to see if the GFCI outlet had tripped. It hadn't but ALL the outlets on that circuit were dead. A friend of mine is an electrician and I had him check it out. He checked the GFCI outlet and it checked out good. He then checked the breaker for that circuit. Power was going out from the breaker but NOT reaching the outlets. By the way this circuit is on the door side of the trailer. He checked ALL the outlets on the door side by pulling them out of the wall. NOTHING! The vacuum had been plugged into an outlet on the door side of the bedroom. He then checked an outlet on the street side of the bedroom. It had power. He pulled that outlet out of the wall. Low & behold it had a wire that had burned loose!!! He cleaned up that wire and refastened it to the outlet. Guess what we had power to the GFCI circuit!!! It seems that vacuum was pulling TOO MANY amps for the GFCI circuit with the other things we had plugged in. The vacuum is a central vacuum so from then on I used a heavy duty extention cord and plugged the vacuum into the outlet for the microwave. Problem solved!!
