Like saying if my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. But she can’t grow any so no matter how hard you wish, it ain’t gonna happen.
No you won't push the load forward. BUT by putting those long boards on the top, pushing them forward, that wieght behind the RA will go forward of the RA, so potentially putting more wieght on the FA for better handling. I would not say in this instance it will be great. But it should put a few of the lost lbs from the rear overhang back.
Unfortunately, with the Transit at work, like ALL Ford vans, they added 4' to the rear of a smaller body. 2000 lbs completely behind the RA like these boards, screws up the FA balance. A stronger stiffer rear suspension would help.
One of the reasons I put as short a rear overhang on my dump flatbed. So I did not unduly unload the FA with a load too far in the rear of the bed.
