From the research I've done, the instrument cluster seems to be a common source, but it is intermittent.
I've had both the dealer and a local garage check the load on every circuit when it is shut down. Unless it decides to act up when someone is checking, we will never pinpoint it for sure.
I figure the best I can do is reduce all the little non-essential loads I can and hope to get lucky.
