Nobody is making any assumptions. I'm not really sure how to make it any clearer for you. i suggest re-reading the posts in this thread. It really isn't very complicated.
Now, on the flipside, if you're willing to do a $50,000 buy-back of my new Ram 2500 diesel if it doesn't perform exactly like ib516's Ram 2500 6.4 with the same payload, then I'll unabashedly assume everything you say on this topic is gospel.
