Sure, aftermarket equipment may help your vehicle carry a heavier load better but such equipment is not recognized by any DMV and may "distance" your position with the manufacture if failures occur due to overweight operation.
These comments are all well stated and most likely well intended.
What percentage of medium duty trucks hauling 3000 to 5000 lb. loads have "failures" and then are presented to the manufacturer's dealer for a warranty claim?
Can you or anyone else on this forum list examples with real people and the real issue?
I'm just asking. Hot coffee cost McDonald's lots of $$ too!
